Gender is something loose, silly, and fun.
To me, memes are big parts of my online and offline presence, and I wanted to put this heavy subject of gender in a not-so-heavy design.
I've bedazzled the spreads to communicate the positivity and festivity of the content, while also connecting the internet meme-fied aesthetic to something tacky in the physical world.
The preview (image 1) is the title animation from the film portion, that goes hand in hand with the book portion (image 2 & beyond). Both projects use the interviews I've conducted. While the book goes over each person one by one, showing the whole conversation and references, The film arranges the interview in a quick and entertaining way, compilating everyone's answers to create a narrative.
